S7E users with "performance" problems"

It is due to encryption. Tested it with my non encrypted note 5 and the note 5 is a tad bit faster almost not noticeable. Encrypted note 5 and the S7E is a bit faster. I personally have 0 lag. Smoother than my note 5 too overall. Tested with my 6P too and the 6P is a bit faster than the edge but nearly as buttery if not the same.

I agree that is most likely the difference seen between s7 edge and Note 5 comparisons. 6P being faster doesn't help as it is also encrypted though, but running stock so makes sense.
