S7edge & Mac sync?

I downloaded Android file manager on my macbook air and it still did not recognize my S7 edge. What's up

You installed Android File Transfer?

Did you also pull down your notification shade and change the "mode" for your phone? You need to change from charge mode to one that allows for file transfer. This notification only shows up once the phone is plugged in.

Look at the bottom of my notification shade in the first image, tap that and you get the dialog in the next image.

Android file transfer hasn't been updated in years. Try Samsung Smart Switch. You can find it in the Playstore.

Odd, they show up for me on a computer browser but not in the AC app.

Yes. You need to install it on your mac. Works great for backing up your phone as well as transferring your existing setup to a new phone.
