Android Central Question
My US based S8 is on Nougat. Last week an update from Google or Samsung was pushed to my phone. The update reset many of my general settings, like haptic feedback, app icons frames went back to a white background, fonts changed size and navigation bar buttons were reversed.
Unfortunately, what ever the update was it also altered how gmail is syncing. It now has a significant delay (15-30 min), but will sync fine if I keep my screen on.
I have all the doze type stuff disabled, cleared cache, updated gmail, verified every setting possible. Before what ever it was that updated, I would always get notifications of a new gmail within a minute of when it was sent.
What gives?
