I've been getting this message a couple of times everyday lately. I've done everything I can think of, even even booting into recovery mode and clear cache. Anyone knows how to get rid of this?

Have tried to reboot the phone, go into memory, and clear out the cookies, and cache ?

Device Maint. was recently added to the Play store as a download. You might give updating it a try. As it is an app you should be able to disable it in Settings. You also say you cleared the cache, did you force stop it first? If not, go to it in Apps, All, then force stop, clear cache and clear data. Exit settings and reboot. That might help.

I got that same message once, about 2 weeks ago. I this k I cleared the cache on it

Settings > Battery > scroll down to unmonitored apps and select > select the + sign to add apps you want to allow unlimited power consumption and the app monitor will do nothing to try and stop them.

You can always go back in and see the percentage of battery use and put them back to being monitored by device maintenance.
