S8 not built to last long!

Had my S8 plus since October and already the charging port and aux for headphones not working properly. It's fantastic screen and phone but definitely not built to last. My LG 4 at least lasted 3 years with nowt.

Since it's under warranty, have it repaired. When a company makes a few million phones a year, having one bad connector isn't a bad record.

Judging all S8's based on one single unit, nice statistics.

When I couldn't charge my last phone anymore I had to remove lint from the USB port with a needle. Remember to turn it off first.

And remove the battery... Oh, wait.

Instead, use a toothpick or something else non-conductive. Because you can't remove the battery on most phones, that port is still likely able to be shorted out even when turned off.
