S8 paired with a samsung watch S2

At the origin, with my S6 Edge everything was ok and most important the app Gear S was ok: new watch faces, some paid, step, sleep, hearth beat etc tracked. Regularly I make a backup.

I bough the S8 and restored the backup which included the app Gear with the paid watch face etc.... th S8 ans my watch were paired... for an hour

It worked 1+ hour and I supposed after a new release in the background the « new? » Gear is very different and recognize it seems, only the steps BUT IMPORTANT at the opening it ask pairing and among all potential connected objects in my environnent like the Samsung phone of my wife, but the S8 is sadly absent.

Anyone experienced that and could have a solution??? I am losing everything I paid as the Gear S2 have a LOT of app, watches faces etc very useful and interesting

I paired my S8 and Gear 2 classic and everything works the same as it did with my S6. I could never connect it to 2 phones at the same time so can't help you there.

Just got my gear s2 classic and it won't pair with my galaxy s8 my galaxy says it is but the watch does not. I've tried resetting the watch unpairing them and nothing works please help

I have 2 paired to my s8 and have absolutely no issues.
