S8 Pics vs S7 Pics

I've looked at all the S8 photos. They're good but for those that upgraded from the S7 can you really see a difference in your photos? As far as improvement in quality, I'm just not seeing it. Where do you see an improvement? The camera would be the only reason I'd upgrade.

Sometimes I think it can be in the individuals eye / perspective if they see a noticeable difference.

I've come from a s7 edge which I found the quality of the pictures to be very adequate.

I've taken pictures on the s8 and I feel the same. That said I'm an occasional type picture taker. Thst Special moment type person.

There's so many preference settings in camera apps now it's sometimes difficult to know if your getting the best exposure.

I'm sure the more serious photographers would have a keener eye than me.

Low light pictures have less noise, chromatic aberration is reduced, and colors are truer. It's subtle, but important, if you're into photography. So, in general, the images will look very similar.

FrozenCropse, it's a nice example of clarity and color but so are my S7 examples.
Paridge's comments of less low light noise and chromatic aberration (and I hope lighting "flares")
are good to know

Love the blue Flex! I almost pulled the trigger on one of those, but got a red 2017 Explorer instead. Now I'm doubting my decison. But, back to business: I like the camera on my s8+ more. It's much sharper. I never really got got good results with my Edge 7. Probably user error but I tried so many things and couldn't get good point and shoot results. This is one is from the s8+, just point and shoot. And it posted sideways, no idea why

Seems overall same quality as S7, but low light appears to be even better.

HMB, ohhhh, the only reason there's no more of these cars on the road, well two reasons. Ford doesn't advertise and until you're actually IN one and driving it, you can't possibly know what you're missing. I hated the look of the Flex and felt embarrassed for the people driving them TILL the salesman made me get in one (because it checked all my boxes). It was my first and last stop car shopping that day This is my second one.
