S8 shows 4g and not LTE

[Android Central Question]

Coming from a pixel onto the S8 plus. I am noticing that even though I am in an LTE area the phone shows 4G. The pixel used to show LTE.

Any idea why?

In what country? In the UK, I’ve noticed 4G in the status bar on phones, but I don’t recall seeing LTE on any phone.

There's no issue. LTE is a type of 4G connection. International Samsung devices all show 4G instead of LTE.
