S8+ Stock Message App Crashing Lately?

The messaging app has been complete trash as of the last firmware update. It keeps closing itself after sending about 3 or 4 messages. Also, some messages seem to say sent but the other person says they did not receieve my message after a couple of hours of not responding and show me the screenshots accordingly.

Does anyone know if Samsung will fix this soon or am I the only one experiencing this? I have tried seeing if it was me by changing some options around and going off power saving mode but it really seems like it is the app itself. Thank you.

You can try deleting the app in the app manager and it will go back to version that came with phone. Did that when gmail acted up after updates
