Can someone who has moved from the plus to the note please share your thoughts on the in hand differences between the two and if you honestly believe it's a worthwhile move ...thanks

Both are amazing devices. They feel about the same size however the Note is a little less curvy. To me it feels more sturdy and a little heavier. Personally, I like that it feels a little heavier because it feels well build and less chance to break.

not sure what to say. I have big hands so neither phone feels too big to me. easy to reach buttons and the fingerprint reader. I love my note.

The S8+ has a slightly better feel in the hand IMHO. It is more like the way the Note 7 felt when holding it. That being said the Note 8 feels a little too big. Not by much just a little. I will get use to that however as I did when I got my first Note the Note 3. I went to the 8+ because it was close to the Note 7 when holding it. But it did not take long for me to miss the Spen. I've had the N8 for 3 days now and am very happy I Upgraded. Verizon made it easy for me to do so, which was a surprise for me, being that it is, well, Verizon.
No regrets no looking back. I do believe that Samsung could have done more with the N8, like no bezel top and bottom. But maybe with the N9. I always like the Note line as Samsung did more with it than the S-line. More innovation that might show up in the next S phone.
So to sum it up. S8+ great phone N8 even better. Worth the upgrade if you are a Note fan.

I upgraded and honestly can say the note is snappier and enjoy the more dense feel in the hand. Both are amazing devices but I think the Samsung ux8.5 plus the 6gm of ram seems to have made a difference in performance.

Personally I am happy with the switch, but it depends on how you want to use your phone. The in hand feel is nice. Still manageable with one hand for most tasks for my average man hands, and the squared off screen does give the impression of more screen real estate. It's not massively larger than the S8+ by any means.

Performance is par with the S8, no big surprise there, and no verdict yet in the extra RAM

Pardon my bluntness but my s8+ feels slow 'n' clunky (in operation) compared to my sleek 'n' quick Note8. My husband just could hardly wait to switch. We loooove the s-pen and its increased practicality! Sorry to say it but I think the system font is a bit less graceful than the Note7's was though.
