So the accuracy of the AccuBattery app and its "Battery health estimate" has been discussed several times in androidcentral forums and most people would not trust it, however, it's been fairly accurate for me, for example both my s8+ and note 8 were around 101% when new and after around 6 months they were at around 98%. When I have bought abused phones on eBay such as an old s7 or note 5 to use for trade-in and that the battery clearly last less than when new, accubattery says like 60-70%.

With my S9+ (T-Mobile, SD) that is only 5 days old, my estimated capacity is 95%, very close to 3300 mAh, some other users at XDA were complaining about the same.

However, other funny fact is that I was looking at the s9+ BOM compared to the s8+ and Note 8 and I found interesting is that battery is 37.5% more expensive on the S9+ ($5.5) compared to the s8+ or Note 8 ($4). When they announced the s8+ they said it would degrade only 5% vs 20% of other batteries after certain use but did they mention any difference with the s9+ why would it be 37.5% more expensive?

I just got my replacement phone as my first phone has a problem.

Anyway... the replacement phone is also reporting that the 3500mah battery only has an actual capacity of 3300mah.
