S9 Live Focus stuck in selfie mode

My wife's and son's s9s are stuck in selfie mode when they use the live focus camera mode . The button to flip it back to use the rear camera is not on the screen. I don't have this porblem on my s9 plus. Can the s9s not do this with the rear camera because it only has one camera?

I know live focus uses both the main lens and telephoto lens in combination to gather depth data, it's very likely Samsung left that feature out of the regular S9 because it has one rear camera.
