S9+ Major Touchscreen issues

I'm having major issues with the touchscreen on my S9+. I have to constantly press the same spot 5-6 times before it responds to anything. I have turned on the screen sensitivity with screen protector in the options and didn't do anything. It has the latest update and have done numerous factory resets. I got it roughly a month after release. Is there anything I can do to fix this? For a $1000 phone, it's a POS. My HTC M7 works way better than this thing.

Do you have a screen protector installed? Try removing it.

It's screen protector probably.
