S9+ media volume sync

Has anyone else noticed that media volume sync doesn't seem to be working with Android 8.0? I have a JBL Charge 3 speaker that I know supports volume sync. I previously had an S8+ with Android 7 and volume sync worked fine with the speaker.

It was working for me but I turned it off to try out using multiple audio devices at the same time. Now I can not turn it back on. I am using Samsung Level over headphones which definitely support the feature.

Yup, that is the same message I get! Looks like a bug to me. Let me know if you figure it out.

Has anybody resolved this issue? I'm having the same problem on my Note 9. I know for certain that my devices work with MVS, as it worked with my S8+ and Note 8, but now with my Note 9, the option is greyed out and reports the error that my device must be compatible, which they all are...

I have read it is a bug on the 9 series with the Android 8/Oreo... Any verification of this... Considering contacting Samsung, not that they'll likely have much to contribute...
