S9 not disabling screen during calls

My S9 keeps pulling down the notification bar when I'm on a call and doesn't seem to be disabling the screen. Anyone seen this and know of a fix?

If your ear is near the top speaker? That sounds like your proximity sensor is either being blocked by a case (it's optical) or screen protector, or it went bad (and has to be replaced).
