S9 will only charge off laptop, not from main charger!

Have you tried a different cable? To the phone, there's no difference what's supplying the power.

Clean the port where cable connect to the phone

Try and use a real thin needle or Plastic tooth pick to clean out the charging port to see if there's any lint or anything make sure phone is off

I agree plastic or wood toothpick but not Needle incase you short something out.

Sorry I should have added that I covered the basics, tried different official cables and chargerd (colleagues), so there is a difference in what's supplying the power unfortunately. It's all a bit bizarre. Yesterday it wouldn't charge at all with any mains adapter but when I got home and phone had died, I connected to laptop and phone said 6 hours for full charge so thought I'd just try mains one just time and bizarrely it worked. Fast charged but cut out at 60%
