S9+ Wireless charging problem, PLEASE HELP!

Hello,
My S9+ has a problem when using wireless charging, the phone will auto unlock.
Does anyone know the reason for this or it's just me having this issue?

Welcome to Android Central!

Open Settings, then type "Smart Lock" in the search box at the top. Is the wireless charger set up as a trusted device?

Are you sure that it is locked? Or is the screen just turned off?

If the screen is off putting it on the charger will turn the screen on. I'm sure that this is more or less to confirm that charging has started.

IME if the screen is locked, putting it on the charger turns the screen on but does not unlock the phone.
