S9+ won't take pictures...?

I am new to the s9+. This morning I tried to take pics of my computer screen, but it would act like it was taking a shot, then not save the shot. It happened again tonight when I was taking a pic of the dash of my car.

Why doesn't it take the pictures? I can only assume that the images are out of the auto exposure range? Can I correct this? I want my camera to take pictures when I press the shutter.

Also, there seems to be massive shutter lag of at least a second or more. Is this normal?

Finally, at times the speakerphone sounds like absolute junk. This seems to be an issue w/the phone anyway to fix it.

I am beginning to think I wasted my money on a piece of junk phone. Hopefully it is settings or operator error.

Thanks

Thanks for your reply.
I have cleared the data cache of the entire phone in an effort to fix the speakerphone. I have just forced stopped the camera. I have done a full reboot several times.

Hi, your welcome!
So for the camera wanted you to clear it's data, cache, force stop in that order see if it goes back to normal.

Do you have a memory card? Damaged card can severely affect performance.

You can Remove the sd card and see if it works, but also let me know on steps i talked about!

I have cleared the cache and all. I tried a couple of pics of my screen screen and they worked. It's been a sporadic problem so I will have to let you know.

Has anyone had any luck with the speakerphone issue? It also seems to be sporadic.

Thanks
