SA Labs Equalizer for volume fix

I don't know what you guys are talking about.. I installed this and set the settings according to the screen shot in the original post.

While the volume is louder, it's so distorted! Go into sounds and play some of the stock android sounds. It sounds like the speaker is busted!!

The regular click sounds you get when you push buttons on the phone, that sounds fine. The click when you shut off the screen -- that sounds fine too. But all the sound effects you get from notifications sound terrible!!!

Lower it. I have it at 8 rather than 15.

I like Volume +, but I'll try this out too to see if it is better. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for the suggestion but that hasn't fixed anything. All the sounds still are very distorted..

Hmm. I followed your request and went into all the system notifications and they were all clear. Sorry to hear about this problem. Do you have Volume+ installed?

I had it installed previously but I uninstalled it. I also reinstalled equalizer on a clean slate and while it works in terms of boosting volume, the clarity is god awful.

So far I don't like this app - it makes the phone sound crappy. Volume + seems better so far.

I'm not too impressed with the distortion, either <sigh>.

Guess I'm just gonna not use anything for now, and deal with the lower volume. It's not imperative that I hear the phone's notifications anyhow, as I typically have it on vibrate (and on my belt) 99% of the time.

I do hope that it does get corrected in a patch sometime, though...

I like this more than Vol+ because of the simplicity and it works just as good if not better....again this is what I found and may not be the same for others...

This is definitely better than Volume+ and louder too.
I have no noticeable distortion with equalizer set at 11 and bass boost at 25.

So i have a question, i installed equalizer, i see the difference when it is running..

Do i need to start this app every time i reboot the phone? cause thats not the greatest volume solution..
Am i doing something wrong?

pretty much

It seems to enhance it some. I do like it better than volume+ .

How to save the settings on SA Labs Equalizer? when I switch off the phone bars goes back to the zero position. :(
