There is now an empty spot on my left wrist... a void left by the Urbane 2 LTE that no smartwatch out there can fill. It's really too bad, it was the only Smartwatch that I really liked, and didn't have any regrets owning.

The AT&T rep wanted me to walk out with a Gear S2 LTE. I said "no thank you". I had the original S2 for about a week and missed having Google Maps and "Ok, Google". The Urbane LTE was perfect for me. Guess we'll have to see how this develops.

Supposedly I will get a $100 credit to my AT&T service on top of the refund. That's a nice gesture. So the way I see it is that I got to enjoy a smartwatch that I really liked for 2 weeks and they paid me $100 for the privilege!

I know the feeling and thus why I can't let go of mine. There just isn't any equivalent on the market right now. The Gear S2 user interface is wonderful. But what good is it when nobody is writing apps for for Tizen. And yes I can't live without Google services.

Yes, the problem for me is that no matter how popular Tizen gets, it is unlikely that Google will port any of their services to it because of Android Wear...

Hi kodos78

I'm just about to send back my Gear S2. Too many issues, and functions that just don't work. I was looking at the Urbane 2 until I read today it's been withdrawn.

What was your experience of it like?

I'm particularly interested in the activity tracking features, that Samsung sadly made a mess of with the S2 e.g. an unreliable HRM that couldn't be set to be on constantly.

How does LG stack up with that?

I decided to keep my LG, and have been tracking my runs with in stand-alone mode for the past week or so. I am about to put my Gear s up on Ebay, because the LG is a real upgrade to it. I am completely amazed by the LG.

Only issue so far: While it has never died on me, there is something weird going on with the battery indicator: It likes to sit on 67% for way too long.

@Kodos78, too bad you returned yours!
