Safe to buy International Unlocked Smartphone?

Thinking of buying either an international unlocked silver galaxy note 5 or galaxy s7... I could get the Verizon versions as they are within my price range but they're missing a few LTE bands & idk how well it'll work on att due to that.

Would anyone recommend buying an unlocked international Amazon device? I'm scared as I don't believe Samsung will honor the 1 year warranty since I'm in the U.S

You can buy from b&h, no Samsung warranty but b&h will warranty it for a year

I would try be careful to make sure that it hasn't warranty in the usa, most won't.
