Sold mine this weekend and will just keep my S6 active. No need to have more than one carrier branded device.
What are you going to do with the $18 you got for it ?![]()
since it is an obscure device on one carrier the news about the problem has yet to get around any in the real world.
That's the good thing about carrier exclusives that have so many features like the S7 active. It will sell for a very good price especially for those who may want to take it to Europe. Mine is unlocked so if and when I do sell it I should get a good price.
Its was on all our local news stations in Detroit as well as cnn and fox news.
Now ask yourself if people was really paying attention to those stories other than folks that are techies somewhat like us. Majority of people tech talk and issues just confuse them at best.
It'll be a while before I sell it. There is no other phone like this on the market. My phone has been absolutely awesome. These types of phones hold their value really well because they are hard to come by and in an unlocked condition can be used all over the world.I would say sell it early as the longer you wait the lower the price will go on when you sale.
Your grandmother is one in a million probably literally LOL. And that's one very educated office staff you have there because most people don't even know this phone exists. Then again they can't be that educated because if they think the S7 Active is a piece of junk they obviously don't know technology that well. What other phone compares?Believe it or not, my 73 year old mother who just gave up her flip phone last year was how I found out that it was on the news. She called and said "that phone you got is all over the news saying you should return it". Everyone at my office knew about it and all decided to throw in my face that I bought a piece of junk lol. Id venture to say alot more people than you think know about it and based on sales Im sure the news had something to do with it.
