Sammy S III or HTC Evo....Need to purchase today!!!

need your help deciding...old Evo 4g in-op (microphone kaput) ....currently trying out an iphone 4s = SUCKS... Bestbuy has the new EVO for 99.00 or S III 199.00....is the Sammy worth the extra hundred?.........thanks in advance

Heck yes the s3 is worth it! So many cool features that would miss if I ever went back to the evo. Def get the s3. You will not be disappointed sir.

Sorry to say it but I got an HTC Evo 4G LTE when I upgraded earlier this summer (I had the ogEvo 4G) . Really wanted to like it, but it had a bunch of problems and I had to take it back 3 times. 3rd time I said the hell with it and got a SIII and love it.

IMO the main issue with the Evo is the non removable battery vs. with the SIII you can't move apps to the SD card (just pictures, music and other media). Other than that you can't go wrong with either phone.

As much as I love my HTC Evo 3D, if I had to make that choice based on what I've seen (mostly last night when a girl I'm friends with that has an S3 let me check it out) I'd pick the S3 in an instant.

The are lots of people who switched from the Evo 4g LTE to the S3. And for good reason. The price is less because of the issues wIth the Evo. I had the Evo 4g and Evo 3d. I wanted the Evo 4g lte but there were just too many problems.

Also, Best Buy Price matches. Wal-Mart and Sam's Club have it for a hair under $150. There, I just saved you $50

I had both and evo was always crashing because of sense. Maybe it's because the s 3 has the extra gb of ram. I would get the s3

My personal opinion is that these two are very close. Would I say the S3 is 100.00 better, no. Getting the S3 will give you the pleasure of owning a popular device. I chose the EVO when I was in your position, but I'd recommend the S3 for now. Gives you a chance at a different Android experience.

I think you will be really happy with your choice but I am curious. Did you ask the same question on the HTC Evo forum? I am sure they would be just as enthusiastic about their phones. Hopefully you used both forums because it is funny how we like our own opinion to be validated by people that we know share the same opinion. I probably do the same thing.

There is no need to move apps to SD on the GS3 there's 16G of memory or 32G if you want that much.
