Samsung A51 Unlock Help

So I picked up two phones: a Motorola e and a Samsung A51. They both use Straight Talk on the Verizon prepaid network and were purchased at Walmart.

I activated the Moto with minor trouble but when I go to stick the new SIM card that works in my Moto e into the Samsung it tells me that the phone is locked. Without having to port my number then port it back, can anyone please help? My old SIM doesn't work in the Samsung.

So just to be sure -- the Samsung is an actual Straight Talk branded phone? Was it brand new or repackaged/refurbished?

They're going to recommend I bring it into a store. Straight Talk requires picking up the Sim package. If no one is sure on how to circumvent the carrier settings I'll end up bringing the phone back to Verizon and have them do what they did to my Moto e.

Verizon should be able to get a APN see if that works , I never liked straight talk Sims on Samsung devices from helping other members that had similar issues.

I guess I'll have to do this. I thought SIM cards were meant to make life easier.

Yeah try that out but those straight talk Sims I've seen nothing but issues, sometimes your better of getting a carrier prepaid sim.
