Samsung A71 camera/ lock glitch

Hi guys, im having a heap of glitches with my A71. I have done updates but it hasn't helped.
So when I push the lock button it no longer locks. It usually goes to Bixby or camera. Also when turning the volume up or down it does the same. I can't lock the phone, I just have it on 15 sec time out.
Often while using the phone and not even pushing any buttons it will glitch hard and come up with bixby or camera and flips the camera screen.

Im assuming it's some fault and I'll need to do a full reset or buy a new phone but in the hopes there is a solution that makes me not have to get all my photos off and reinstall everything, I've come here.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Welcome to Android Central! How unfortunate that you are going through that! Here are some suggestions and questions for you:

Have you updated your apps and phone to the latest software?

Was your phone bought new? How old is it?

How is the battery and other hardware features faring on the phone?

Has it been exposed to water or steam recently?

Can you power off your device (but I'm assuming the power button also works as the locking button, so perhaps not)? If so, see if that resolves any glitches.

Welcome to Android Central! Does this also happen in Safe Mode? https://www.t-mobile.com/support/devices/android/samsung-galaxy-a71/safe-mode-samsung-galaxy-a71-5g. If so, then I would suspect a hardware problem with the Power button. Try swabbing rubbing alcohol into the gaps around the button, in case there's some residue there that might be making the button stick.

It's possible the side buttons got remap to Bixby, try going settings>advance feature>side keys >and toggle just power button, see if that fixes for volume button also , if not for volume button then check in accessibility setting you might of touch something there .
