Hi everyone,
I’m a student currently working on mobile app development using .NET MAUI, and I need to use my Samsung A71 for debugging.
Here’s the situation:
When I first connect my phone to my Windows laptop, it was detected correctly. I can debug apps without issues, and the phone charges normally.
The problem occurs after I finish programming for the day, close Visual Studio, stop the MAUI app, and disconnect my phone. The next time I try to reconnect, my phone is not recognized at all. Sometimes restarting the phone helps, but other times even a restart doesn’t solve the issue.
What I’ve already tried:
Switching USB modes / sharing options on the phone
Turning Debugging mode on and off
Reinstalling Windows USB drivers
Additional observations:
Using the same USB cable, my friend can connect his phone to my laptop without any problems.
Using the same cable, I can connect my phone to his laptop and it works fine.
This seems like a very strange, device-specific issue. My exam is coming up soon, so I need a reliable solution.
My phone is very wierd and I will try to replace it but again I cant afford to buy new phone just to see that problem is in laptop.
Sorry for long message I hope someone know what could be causing this or how to fix it?
