I know there are previous post's on this but as I'm new to Android and more and more of us are coming I figure I would remind all of us that this feature doesn't exist for us (Galaxy Tab 10.1). Although going to this link: Features and Specifications - Samsung Galaxy Tab (scroll to bottom last feature discussed) says we do have it I talked to several Samsung rep's who insisted we will not get this and that it was a mistake to have it on the site. However, one rep mentioned it was put there as an awesome new feature but never enabled.

I think it's pretty hilarious they have to mislead "prospective client's" into buying their merchandise by saying they have things they don't. True shame, glad I won my tablet and didn't buy it.

Also their is a Samsung App that makes you enable the Settings for downloading updates / apps from unknown sources that can cause Virus's, hacking, loss of data, etc and Samsung makes you accept full reliability & risk if you enable this but it's the only way to get the updates (also if we get AllShare where you will have to download) but yet it's an App created by Samsung who also creates your device...strange?

Twonky is an App that allows you to stream anything on your tablet to another device / TV wirelessly with no feedback issues, lag, blur or skipping. Check it out in the Market - great App!

Anyone else find things they were informed of and didn't get?

I have all share on my Captivate and I love it. I don't know why it isn't on the 10.1... and yes, I wish we had it.

Yeah it's stupid that we don't especially since Samsung has it on their site as a "special" feature for this tablet.

Just from past experiences, the guys over at XDA havenit ever been out to screw anyone(My Opinion Anyway), In fact, they helped out many times getting updates to the android OS, when samsung could work fast enough.

1. Go to Setting>>Applications>>Check the box that says install from unknown sources.
2. Visit the before mentioned link right from your tablet>> click on link to download file >> once its downloaded click on the apk file. and it will install.

Has not given me any issues.

Good to know, appreciate it and will try this tonight.
