Samsung buds 3 pro and WhatsApp

m not sure where this would go. I could t find an earbuds section. I am using the Samsung buds pro 3 and am experiencing an issue. Whenever I use the buds to send a message in Whatsapp it records audio from my phone microphone and not the buds.

Has anyone else experienced this?
