Samsung Buds If phone not ordered through Samsung

Does anyone know if you are eligible for the Samsung Buds if you order the phone through ATT. ATT givee the BOGO deal but is charging extra for the buds.

The Buds deal is completely separate. You register through Samsung for them and they're mailed to you. (The one exception may be best buy, which sometimes gives you the gift when you pick up your phone)

Not sure on ATT but T-Mobile says you do. Says to redeem on samsung app so assuming ATT would be same.

Not sure if it is a carrier specific thing or not. In the past with these promotions, once you receive the phone then you go to the Samsung promotional website fill out some information (you will have to get information off the phone so you can't claim the gift until you actually have the phone) and then submitt it. It usually takes a few weeks to get the gift. I've done a few pre-orders in the past and have gottem two 256GB micro SD cards and the AKG over the ear headphones. I'm curious to see how good these earbuds are but they are free so can't really complain.

Pre-ordered from Best Buy this morning and got a flyer on how to register for the buds. Problem is I don't see them in the Shop Samsung app.

Except if you buy the phone directly from Samsung, the buds are included in your order. No need to claim once you get your phone. They're listed on my order confirmation with a shipping date of by 3/8.

Or will I get them if I walk into a Verizon store on the 8th and buy the phone in person?

If I only get them if I pre-order then I guess I'll do that as it would be stupid to pass on a $129 freebie.

The free buds are only good from 2/21-3/7. I dine believe you will get them if you purchase on the release date.

Pre-ordered Prism black S10+ and a bunch of USB-C cords (old phone was an S7 which used micro-USB) and a couple of slim cases. VZ is giving me $130 for my beat up S7. Not too bad.

I can see the free buds when you pre order, but there seems to be no mention when using the upgrade programme.
