Not if your 5 days out of warranty. I had a Seidio case for my Tilt. It was poor quality and they weren't interested in replacing it when the second one failed for the same reason as the first.

There are other brands that are better and other vendors that give better customer service.

I am sorry to hear your bad experience with Seidio. I had a case for my Blackberry Bold that they replaced 3 times because when removing the case to do battery pulls, The top half would develop cracks. They finally offered me a Innocase 360 for my Bold 9000. I have always bought directly from Seidio and I did not even know there was a certain warranty period. They have always been very helpful.

Which company has better products and customer service in your opinion?

I just replaced my snap-on ruberized case with what is basically an AMZER rip-off. I must say it is awesome. The sides, back, and corners are protected from nicks, dings and scratches. The screen is left completely open, which means I don't have to use a fingernail to get to the edge as is the case with clip-on cases that a huge lip that goes over the edge of the screen.

Plus I only had to pay 3.99 with shipping included.

Otterbox got some new cases coming out. Im excited about this hopefully they make the impact cases because they're cheaper and not as bulky. i loved it on my bold 9000

I also had bought directly from them. The first case I thought I had damaged so I bought a second one. When the second one cracked in the exact same place as the first, I contacted them and they told me that I was out of warranty, but they offered something like free shipping. I replaced it with a Boxwave case. It cost less money and was more durable.

In my experience, I have gotten better service from Cheapdroids and Boxwave, to name a couple. The products didn't fail and the service was prompt. Most of the merchants I deal with go out of their way to provide customer service. This wasn't my experience with Siedio.

For 50 bucks Seidio better have good customer service. I agree the cases are well built and good quality.

For anyone looking for a Seidio case, try BestBuy. They sell the Seidio case/holser combo (branded as "Platinum" series) for $34.95.

Does anyone know of a good car mount that has the charger built into, so i can snap the captivate in and have it charging at the same time without having to also plug in the cable?

I finally got mine and it is AMAZING!!
If anyone is looking for a great looking, and perfectly fitting silicone case for your Captivate, I have to recommend this. for 3.99 (free shipping) this blows everything out of the water IMHO.

I bought an Extended Battery/door for my Samsung Captivate, I did have an Otter box rubber case protector, now with the added battery life, I am in need of Case that will cover the phone like the otter box did? Anyone know where or any companies selling case covers that will fit with the extended battery? Thanks for any info...
