Samsung Cloud Backup?

Weird thing today... I have my backups set to "Manual" - both Google and Samsung Clouds. At about 11:30 AM this morning, I got a notification tone, so I checked the phone thinking it was a text message. The Samsung Cloud Backup had started automatically without any input from me - I was connected to my home WiFi. I let it go because it was about due, but when it was finished, I went into settings and checked and it was still set to "Manual"!!! The Ghost of my Note 7???

Mine did it by itself too. It decided to update itself and then back my phone up even though auto update was off and I didnt have auto cloud backup enabled.

I wonder if Samsung is getting us ready for Pie? They've never done it before, in all my years with Samsung phones!

That is strange when you turned everything off .

Maybe check your cloud usage. May have done it and you have no idea it did.

Just checked - all that's on the Samsung Cloud from my Note 9 is the January 8th Backup. There were two from my Note 8 that I deleted and one from Galaxy S7 Active (which I still own).
