Samsung Custom Kernel rebooting device, how can I stop this?

Hi,
I have downloaded Samsung Kernel source code from samsung opensource site for SM-G901F(Galaxy S5 Plus) and SM-N910G(Note4) device, but when i flash the compiled code in device the device keeps on rebooting just after3-5 secs of power-on.Earlier also i have flashed custom Kernels in S3 and S4 devices but never faced this issue.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums. Does the Android version of the kernel match the version on the device? That may cause a bootloop.
