Samsung Email, doubles up email text and attachments

[Android Central Question]

Hello. I own an S8 with the latest firmware. Only on my phone (s8) and not on my mothers or fathers S8+ phones, emails from my sister gets doubled up. By this I mean in the actual body of the text the message is repeated. Eg hello victor hello victor. Then every time she sends an attachment they get doubled up or even tripled up. So I end up with 8 pictures but four are the same. She only sent one copy of each and proved on the other recipients phones. I use the Samsung email software using a gmail account. Please, help.

Hi all. Thanks for your replies. Its only one email address that this happens with. Strangely the doubled up / repeated text in the email body has gone but the attachments are still doubled or tripled. Its been going on for ages this.

Try removing the email account from the email app, then adding it back again.

I don't know how to do that. Looked through settings and don't see options for those. When I do find them, will that delete emails and passwords?

Yes but everything sync up will populate again ...long press the Samsung email app >tap info>d roll to to storage and complete it there

I am having the same issue and none of these solutions worked for me. It just keeps duplicating the text (but not the attachments weirdly enough) Any other possible solutions? This is the only place on the internet that is talking about the specific issue I'm having and I would love to resolve it.
