Everywhere I look (T-Mobile's site, Wal-Mart, spec sheets on phone review sites), they all say the Samsung Exhibit II has 512MB of RAM (Samsung Exhibit II 4G Specs, Features (Phone Scoop)), but in the task manager it is showing only 356MB of RAM (I guess 384MB because that fits the ratio).
I'm running Android 2.3.5 rooted right now, is there like a kernel limit? Or is the rest of the RAM just secretly hidden away for the system? That's weird, because if it is hidden for the system, the 356MB of RAM still gets used by >200MB on start up, which comes up to ~350MB of RAM usage by the system itself, if I am correct.
