Samsung financing, how hard is it?

So this will be my first time getting a phone through Samsung. I'm curious how strict their finance is when it comes to credit checks and what not. My credit isn't horrible but bc of two surgeries this year it tanked bc of running up credit cards again. I know financing through Verizon is a given for me bc I have history with them, but I don't want to try and order my phone through Samsung and get a surprise at the end. Is there a way to get approval before a purchase?

I don't think you have to pick a product first going through this page. When I applied it was b/c I was buying a QLED tv that wasn't available yet, so I got approval before actually ordering anything. I don't remember what my credit score was at the time.
