Samsung G note 2-Battery slow to charge, help!

I've dropped my phone a couple times, and each time I have dropped it, the battery has popped out of my phone. My phone currently takes a ridiculous amount of time to get to 100%battery life, do I need a new battery or did my charger short circuit?

What charger are you using? stock? USB from computer? random one picked up at some store?
Is your device getting warm when it does charge? ever had liquid damage in the past with that device?
Was it ever plugged in while you were abusing your phone? LOL

Mine was doing the same charging for hours with the white samsung usb cord that came in the box with it. I ordered this $9 (with shipping included) Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more Mediabridge Hi-Speed USB 2.0 - (6 Feet) - A-Male to Micro-B Cable. Now my tmobile note 2 charges from 50% back to 100% within 30mins (if not being used, just changing)-45mins (that's with downloads running, wifi running, and other basic usage). Hope this helps. Btw I did try Motorola usb charger I had, for the Verizon Motorola Razor Maxx, it also charges the tmo note 2 fast but it is a short cord made it inconvenient to use at times.
