Samsung Galaxy A21s move apps to SD card?

[Android Central Question]

I have a new samsung galaxy A21s and I have a 200GB SD card, it recognized the SD card and I can format it was external storage.

I tried to move apps to SD card but there was never the option in settings>apps>storage

I enabled the developer option "force allow apps on external". Still no options.

I did this with the same SD card on my samsung Galaxy S10 and I have the option to move all the apps I have installed including google apps. I successfully moved all my apps.

I'm running android 9 on the S10 and android 10 on the A21s. I don't know if this is problems?

Either way I'd be grateful if anyone can shed some light on this strange difference.

Welcome to Android Central! What if you select a specific app in Settings>Apps? Not all apps allow being moved to the SD card, so you may have to look at a number of them.

I don't recommend you doing this , SD card should be used as portable storage not internal, it has slower write speeds , can be corrupt,cause performance and freezing issues.
