I take everything on The Verge with a grain of salt, personally. That place has exposed itself as a pro-Apple tabloid way too often. I even recall people getting banned for criticizing Apple and/or The Verge in comment sections (without any insults or cursing) and getting banned.

Agreed personally I don't think Verge is apple pro or anything. Sure they have a bunch of folks some prefer apple and some Android but they are generally balanced.

You mean the same, generic 8.5 score they gave the Pixel 3, iPhone XS, and Galaxy S10? That's another indictment of their credibility. Regardless, reviews for flagships happen just a few times a year. Daily content and conduct is unmistakably pro-Apple.

I'm looking forward to trying the Galaxy Buds for myself when they arrive. I'm currently using the B&O E8 and I'm enjoying them on my new S10.

They are. There were just as many positives and negatives for the most recent batch of iPhones as there were for the most recent Samsung and Google devices.

I think The Verge are I've of the better tech sites. Yes they give glowing reviews of Apple's products and for good reason - they make great products.

They also give glowing reviews of Android phones as well. I think the Verge have very clearly stated that the Pixel's have the best cameras on a smartphone for a few years now.

I can't speak for a direct comparison on the two but if it's similar hardware wired sound will win out over Bluetooth.
