Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 - cannot do swipe left or right

Sill not found an answer to this. On my earlier Samsung phones, from the main Apps icon screen you could swipe to the right to get to more apps, etc.

On the J3 2017 I can't do this but after fiddling for a while it seem that you have to scroll down. Is this a bug and just got changed to make it different.

Seems quite annoying.

Anyone have a J3 2017 which can swipe right and left?

This isn't surprising, and may have occurred with a recent system update. It's unlikely that there's an option in the Samsung launcher interface to change back, but you could install Nova Launcher, which does have that option for the App Drawer.
