Samsung Galaxy J5 gen 6 solid verticle white line in the middle of the screen.

Hi I have a Samsung Galaxy J5 gen 6 and as from yesterday, I got a vertical solid white line right in the middle of the screen spanning the entire length.

What could be the cause of the problem

Welcome to Android Central! Does that persist after a reboot, or in Safe Mode? SAMSUNG J500F Galaxy J5 - Safe mode - HardReset.info. If so, then it's probably either a firmware or hardware problem. Is it still under warranty?
