Samsung Galaxy native apps lagging. Phone / Calculator

Hi guys,

Recently I have noticed that some of the Galaxy apps on my S10 have been lagging when I am inputting numbers. Particularly on the Phone app dialpad and the Calculator app.

Any idea of the cause or a fix ?

Are you using the Home button to "end" apps? Start using the Back button. Phone isn't large enough to make the phone run low on RAM, so it has to be other apps still running in the background. (Home doesn't stop the current app from running, it just runs the launcher. So all the apps you've been running are still back there running, eating CPU cycles.)

You can go to recovery and clear system cache and clear out some old data see if it helps.

Hey guys I figured it out.

I had the triple tap to zoom option enabled so I believe this will lag your presses as it is waiting to see if it's a triple tap. Once I turned this option off the lag stopped. Hopefully Samsung can improve this as I like having the triple tap to zoom feature.

I had the triple tap to zoom option enabled so I believe this will lag your presses as it is waiting to see if it's a triple tap. Once I turned this option off the lag stopped. Hopefully Samsung can improve this as I like having the triple tap to zoom feature.
