Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Firmware Upgrade

I keep on hearing that the 10.1 will be getting a firmware upgrade this year due to the upcoming release of the 2014 new 10.1 is that true?

I woke up this morning with my tablet having downloaded A new firmware .. Without thinking of the consequences I just said OK and allowed the installation . It looked pretty much the same....then I saw the S Pen recognition for the first time ! they have got the system down pat ! I hare been writing text all morning ! II am so rusty at cursive its almost sad but its fun to practice! I have written this entire post with s Pen!. Try it out its worth the upgrade alone IMHO !

I was talking to someone in Samsung and she said i would get and update this year, it was through that samsung live chat conversation help desk at their website. And i think its a firmware update

I am in USA and got updated. WiFi only model here. Just a minor update evidently. No version number change and only 65mb.

I am having problems getting a software update to go through on my note 10.1. It asks me to schedule a time to do an update, but then when I accept and attempt to run it, it just sits there and thinks. It says searching for software updates. It sat there for 10 minutes before i gave up. Could this be because my tablet is rooted? Any help would be of great assistance. This is my first software update after rooting my tablet. Is there something different I have to do to allow?

You'll need to at least temporarily unroot your device. Thats the price of playing to root game...

Samsung is always squirting this crap out. I'll believe it when I see it. They make a lot of promises that seem to fall apart close to release. I hope they prove me wrong.

Gosh i got this update yesterday not what i was hoping for, i was hoping for a firmware update like 4.2 or 4.3 ... anyone have news on those firmware even the 4.4 for the old Samsung Galaxy note 10.1?

And does any other Samsung Tablet have any of these firmware 4.2, 4.3, or soon to be 4.4?

I suspect that it is indeed a bug fix. I too was hoping for an update to 4.2.

It was just the NSA installing a backdoor to access all your comms and info.

I downloaded the firmware and said to install it later at a preselected time. I came home, went to do it and I can't find where it's stored for me to click to go ahead and install. Does anyone know where the update is stored so I can do this? I can't redownload as I don't have wifi at home and this tablet is wifi only. . I can't even find a search option to look at. I am feeling pretty useless right now.

Galaxy note 10.1 is showing a red colors in four corners for few second when changing any web site and pressing a volume switch

The speaker of SG note 10.1 is OK it tested during ringtones test but I can't get any sound from the speakers when running my personnel movie and YouTube .I can hear sound of movies through microphone.do you have any solution
