Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 - Wifi Problem

Hello everyone,
I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. The wifi works perfectly fine when ever I'm at school or a coffee shop. But when I try to connect to my home network it gives me some trouble.

First, it will connect like it should. My network will say "Saved, Secured" under it. And then not even 2 seconds later the blue "Wi-Fi networks" bar will say "Scanning..." then it will change to "connecting..." and then I will 're-connect' to my network. However, at no point am I ever actually connected to the internet.

I tried calling help desk and they were useless.

Well, let's see if we can do better than help desk. First, have you ever used other devices with your home wifi and did they work okay?
