Samsung Galaxy Note 2 screen fading.

My girlfriend's screen on her galaxy 2 is fading. I don't mean an inactivity fade or a brightness settings fade. The color on her phone has lost its crispness (no phone drops either). We were wondering if anyone else has come across this issue. I've made sure our screen settings are identical, but her screen is still less sharp. If anyone could tell me how to post a picture I can show comparison pictures.

Have you checked Settings> Display> Screen Mode? That affects color saturation and may affect sharpness.
