So I made the jump from the s3 to the N3 and I have a few questions.
1. I always used go launcher and go notifications but now on the N3 the little round indicator notifications don't show up no matter what I do. Plus the little go notification clover is always on in the left hand corner of my screen which was never the case on the s3.

2. It's an absolutely gorgeous screen so I like active wallpapers. Are there any recommendations for ones that use less battery. Right now I'm running between 22-24% for screen usage but I notice some people have between 11-14% for screen usage on thier battery.

Not sure about go launcher, but the percentages on the battery are relative. Some people have more apps running in the background which will change all the battery percentages. Some apps use more than others.

Black backgrounds use slightly less juice than other colors due to the super amoled screen.

I would use something a little more relatibe than percentage of battery used. As an example, I have an active backgroud of water drops over a photo of my choice. Generally running this all day and with my various apps, which i use a lot throughout the day, I can usually make it from 530a to 9 or 10p before needing to plugin.

Now some thinhs such as GPS will use significantly more battery. I do not use GPS much but I do use location services.

Hope that helps.

I would use

Ok, another question, when taking pics they appear to be almost like as if done with a paint brush and pixilated. Any ideas?

Yep possibly, open your camera and if in portrait click the less than symbol (<) on the left and if in landscape click the down arrow on the bottom and make sure "no effect" is selected.
