Samsung Galaxy Note 3 - Battery problem involving the stock calendar all of a sudden

I installed that gsam battery monitor, and it showed my calendar used 30 percent of my battery this morning, and I went down from 100 percent to 70 percent in an hour and a half. Anyone know what would cause this? I hadnt even opened the calendar so I have no idea whats causing it to use so much battery all of a sudden.

check and make sure that your calendar isnt on a constant sync with something like gmail. if its constantly refreshing then it will use up alot of battery and data.
