Samsung Galaxy Note 3 - Messaging App

Does any one have any issues with the messaging program?

I previously had an iPhone 5s and I needed the original text messages. So I transfered them from the iPhone to the Note 3. Which worked out perfectly except now when I open the messaging application it now "times out" and I cannot do anything. Please help.

I read somewhere in this forum that it has something to do with your original messages associated to your apple id ???.... remember that android is a different system than apple. I don't know if it is that you have to get rid of your apple id, or something like that.... do a search on the forums or google it.
