Samsung Galaxy Note Cannot Take High Resolution Pictures

Hi,

Can someone advise.
As you all know, Samsung Galaxy note has build in 8MB back camera.
but mine is unable to take high resolution photo.
The size of picture file is only up to 300KB.
Not sure what was the root caused.
I have checked all settings, it seems fine.
I have uninstalled all camera applications but still doesn't work.
Previously I was able to take very high resolution pictures. The file was up to 3MB.
My Android kernel version is 2.6.35.7

What is your build number? Mine came from europe with XXLA5, update came out last week or so, now it is XXLA6. Supposed to improved/fix camera problems.

You can also try resetting the phone(turn off, then hold volume up, home and power button) Clear the cache and restart.

Or you can do a hard reset and go back to stock, but back up all your info, contacts, pictures ect.
