Samsung Galaxy Note8 Issues

[Android Central Question]

So, I just brought my Note8 and I love it...however, what I do not love is the fact that the notifications have double sounds to them and now the notifications have stopped working all together.

Gmail.
Twitter.
Facebook.
Games.
Many other apps.

I see I'm not the only one dealing with this issue though and I've been working hard to resolve it:

Powered off the phone.
Reset the phone.
Cleared Cache.
Put the phone in Safe Mode.
All notifications turned on (and off).
Reset app preferences.

I'm not factory resetting my phone, so something's going to give.

Any ideas at all?

Congratulations on your Note8! Really like mine. I'm not sure about the issue you have. I do know that in Settings it allows Notifications to give you a reminder sound if you don't check the notification. Could this be what you're referring to?
