Cattledog, how is battery life? I hope when I'm not playing with it so much, it will last longer. Lol

I did adjust the brightness.

Any tips on ways to conserve battery.

I can see gonna have to buy car charger, just in case. Plus screen protectors, walmart didn't have any.

Had my s2 for about 3 weeks.

Battery is ok, 2 day with low use and 1 day with normal use. Be sure to turn off wifi if you are not near any.

I would avoid the new AT&T software update to 2.3.6. I did the update and did notice a battery drain... Read about it on the forum.

I have the otterbox commuter case for the sgh-I777 from ebay. Works great, all of the holes line up correctly too. The otterbox comes with a screen protector.

I don't use a data monitor aside from the at&t data balance. I keep the 3G off unless I need it.

Yes, it adds bulk. Not too much imo. The phone without the case is really thin! and slides in and out of you pocket well. The otterbox make pulling it out of your pocket more difficult but adds protection for the phone. I would buy it again.

hi i bought a samsung s2 i777,the phone shuts down when im charging it,i took out the battery only to see that there is 4 copper contacts on the phone and the battery has only 3 contacts,i checked the battery compatability and its not for the s2,its for the samsung focus/attain.could this be the problem the phone is shutting down when charging,plz help anyone

Sorry to hear, your having that problem. I have no idea why this is happening . I've never had that happen.

You might want to do a search or start s new post, did you call att?
